Oversight and audits

What backs the trust

  • Supervisors: RIA (EE), plus the Latvian and Lithuanian regulators
What's next

EUDI Wallet

EU member states must offer at least one digital wallet by the end of 2026. Estonia announced its procurement on 2026-05-18; the wallet will not replace the national eID. SK and Cybernetica have been exploring a SplitKey-based wallet since 2022, but there is no official statement that Smart-ID will become an EUDI wallet.
